On June 4, 2025, the USHAŞ delegation met with officials from the Ministry of Health of Mongolia. The meeting focused on cooperation opportunities in areas such as health tourism, supply of pharmaceuticals and medical equipment, training of healthcare professionals, and patient referral processes.

On May 27, 2025, a meeting was held between Mr. Behlül Ünver, General Manager of USHAŞ, and Mr. Adoum Dangaï Nokour Guet, Ambassador of Chad to Ankara. During the meeting, current and potential cooperation between Türkiye and Chad in the field of healthcare was discussed. Topics included USHAŞ’s regulatory role, its international activities, and access to reliable healthcare services through the HealthTürkiye portal.
The Ambassador of Chad expressed his trust in Türkiye’s healthcare system, stating that it is ahead of Europe.

On May 20, 2025, at the 78th World Health Assembly held in Geneva, Switzerland, the Minister of Health of the Republic of Türkiye, Prof. Dr. Kemal Memişoğlu, highlighted Türkiye’s vision for health tourism in his speech.

USHAŞ General Manager Behlül Ünver participated as the opening speaker at the HTDC event, held for the first time at Fişekhane, a historical venue in Istanbul, with the participation of many countries including Spain and Italy. Having previously delivered the opening speech at the HTDC event in Dubai, Ünver once again emphasized USHAŞ's areas of activity and its regulatory role in health diplomacy at this organization. Additionally, during the event, stands were visited, and meetings were held for international cooperation.

On May 7, 2025, during a field visit to Kuwait with the delegation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Türkiye, USHAŞ General Manager Mr. Behlül Ünver engaged in discussions aimed at strengthening Türkiye-Kuwait health relations. The visit addressed various areas of cooperation, including USHAŞ's operation of existing hospital infrastructures, patient referrals for liver transplants, and digital health systems. Additionally, new projects were considered where USHAŞ could play a role, such as the training of health professionals and the supply of pharmaceuticals and medical devices.

USHAŞ Signs New Health Cooperation Agreements in Kuwait

On May 8, 2025, USHAŞ General Manager Mr. Behlül Ünver held meetings with the pharmaceutical and medical device departments of the Ministry of Health of Kuwait during his visit to Kuwait. After the meetings, a hospital visit was conducted. At a reception held at the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Kuwait, sector representatives came together. Within the scope of the existing agreement, the request to open an office in Kuwait was evaluated positively.

On May 2, 2025, USHAŞ participated in the Scandinavian Consular Seminar held in Istanbul. USHAŞ General Manager Behlül ÜNVER emphasized the strategic role of medical tourism in Turkey and USHAŞ's contributions to international health collaborations. The seminar served as a significant platform for strengthening information sharing and diplomatic cooperation in health tourism.
